French news this week had a story about the Italians finding that
rotten eggs were used the liquid eggs sold to many major manufacturers
of food products INCLUDING pasta. The eggs were traced to a British
firm who was found in the past to have also used rotten eggs sold to
Northern European companies. I can't find an English link to this
story on google. Sad
