I'm looking for a Vision Glass pot that is available to Canada. It MUST be
glass, not teflon coated and definitely not metal. No one in Canada seems to
be selling them anymore, at least not here in London. All the big stores
that I went to don't carry them including Wal-mart, The Bay, Zellers and
Sears.
Please help! This is important for me.
Thanks!

Actually, St. Jacobs Factory Outlet Mall is closer to you and they have a
Corning outlet as well.

Visions is made by Corning. You may want to try their factory outlet in
Cambridge (lucky you, its close) at the Southworks Outlet Mall. Other thatn
that I've seen the stuff on eBAY.

I think you must mean "Visions", which was a CorningWare product before
it was taken over by World Kitchens and it went off the market.

I am from Canada and understand your problem ,although I had them I never
liked them and suspect that others felt the same ,suggest you watch yard
sales and the Sally Ann thrift stores

Visions cookware by Corning is pictured in the latest catalog of The Vermont
Country Store--a reliable company that specializes in hard-to-find items. In
the original see-through amber color. The saucepan with lid is sold alone, for
$29.95. There is a 3-piece pot set sold as a unit for $74.95. The 3 sizes are
2 1/2 qt. 1 1/2 qt. and 1 qt. sizes. with lids.

Ignore my original post then. I love being wrong this way.

Interesting. They must have found some hiding in a warehouse since it was
discontinued in 1998. The note they are the only place selling it. Corning
touted the good features, but it was just overwhelmed by the lack of cooking
performance.
Vermont Country store is a neat place though and you can order with
confidence.

I'll have to look next time I'm in a WalMart. I just did a Google search
There is tons of it listed on used and collectibles sites, eBay, etc. Only
one place had what seemed to be new stock and they wanted $200 for a 1.5L
pot and over $300 for some others. They were individual pieces, not a full
set at that price.

The OP was looking for the original stuff. I thought it was all coated
later in life bit I'd not bet money on that.

Woo-hoo! Too bad I like mine; I'd make a killing on having a
complete 'collectible' set. Ooooooo and I even have the
double-boiler insert, too. Ka-ching! LOL
