Hi

I have acquired a taste in Oysters in a big way.
But most of experiences happen to be:

Heathrow Airport having passed through Departure lounge
Schiphol Airport (Amsterdam, Holland)
Legal Seafood at Boston Logan International Airport (USA)
Restaurants on the coast of San Diego (USA)

I am interested in finding an Oyster bar in London
I am not really interested in a Dorchester Hotel experience. I am sure the
Oysters are fine, but the bill will be massive.
Neither do I wish to get food poisoning because the standards are lax.

Can anyone recommend an Oyster bar or two in London?

Thanks

Stephen Howe

Bibendum:

It's nice.

Or try J Sheekey:

I've not been there.

If you can wait until September, there's an oyster & seafood festival
here:

I've been to several in the past. All good experiences healthwise.

There also used to be one in Docklands, but not sure if they still do
it. Keep an eye on this site:

If you'd been asking 15 years ago I'd have recommended Hennelly's
Champagne & Oyster Bar in Balcombe Street, but sadly it changed hands in
the mid-90s.
