For years I have enjoyed raisins in my oatmeal. Lately it's occurred
to me that it might not be a great idea to be eating all those raisins
(I have chronic iron overload), and I'm wondering what sorts of low-
iron fruit I could be eating in my cereal. Any suggestions?

Unless you're consuming huge amounts of raisins (I estimate that over 4 cups
a day would equate to a recommended iron intake); I can't see that leaving
raisins out will make a significant difference. If you are taking
multi-vitamins, try and get iron free versions e.g.
http://www.devanutrition.com/multivitamin_iron_free.html . Also donating
blood may help lower your current levels.
