Hi, can any one advise us please as to what to get.

We want to make fruit cakes and Pavlova's etc.

While shopping we noticed that Food Processors had a multitude of uses but
would they mix heavy fruit cakes as good as a food processor?

any advise appreciated.

Sharon

Hi Sharon. I think the best one for mixing heavy battered ckaes such as
fruit cakes (yum) is a kenwood bowl mixer with whisk, hook and paddle
attachments or if you're commercial a small hobart (brand name) would
be perfect. Food processors are great but I think it would be like
opening a can with a fork. Probably the wrong tool for the job.
