Yes, Delicious!
I felt totally decadent last evening enjoying my root beer float. I hadn't
had one in many a year because of the carb issue. This was a real special
treat.

I have taken to making coffee as a treat...i make very mud dark strong
coffee and put sugar free coffemate and a splash of heavy cream and a few
splenda packets in it and enjoy...tastes like those cofee candies i loved as

Yum, root beer float....
Has anyway ever had a Purple Cow? Grape soda and vanilla ice cream. I
loved it as a kid .My dad used to have a fountain bar in his restaurant and
we made up all kinds of ice cream soda drinks.
A few years back I concocted this drink recipe to replicate a drink I had in
a Mexican restaurant down south. For some relatives I reduced the sugar by
using diet cherry 7 Up soda and low carb ice cream. I do not know how much
sugar grenadine syryp has. I suppose one can leave it but it does make the
drink very tasty.
I hope if anyone trys it let me know. It's very refreshing.
Joan's Cherry Mojo
2 Tbs. grenadine syrup
Cherry 7-UP ( diet )
1 scoop of cherry or vanilla ice cream ( Breyers carb smart ice cream )
whipped cream
cherry
For a plain cherry mojo place grenadine syrup in a glass and fill with the
cherry 7 Up . This is quite a delicious and refreshing drink.
For the ice cream soda dessert version, add a scoop of cherry or vanilla
ice- cream and garnish with whipped cream and a cherry.
Yield: 1 ice cream soda glass drink

I do something similar with diet root beer just by adding a TB of heavy
cream to it.
When you do it with diet orange soda, it tastes like a creamsicle.
